Genie Irene Moss, 56, of East State Road 46, died at 4:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at her home.
Genie was born October 10, 1957, in Columbus, the daughter of Max and Florence Harden.
A school bus driver for Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation for 16 years, she also had loved being a "stay at home Mom" for many years.
She loved spending time with her grandson, Sawyer. Genie also loved her dog, and enjoyed gardening, astronomy and being outdoors living life.
The funeral will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Greene officiating. Calling will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Genie Moss Memorial Fund through the funeral home.
Survivors include her children, Carl Andrew Moss of Columbus, Sally Gene Moss of Hope, James Woodfil (Lesley) Moss II of Columbus, Caleb Harden Moss of Hope, Max Dale Moss of Hope, and Michael Glen Moss of Hope; sisters, Maxie Skidd of Salem and Melissa Harden of Cincinnati; and a grandchild, Sawyer Michael Moss.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Florence Harden.
