NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Mack Mercer scored a career-high 17, and Evan Bradds converted a three-point play with 11 seconds left to lift Belmont over Morehead State 58-57 on Saturday night, snapping a three-game losing streak.

Mercer, whose previous best was eight points, scored 10 in the second half and made 7 of 11 field goals overall.

Bradds finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds for Belmont (16-10, 8-5 Ohio Valley), and Reece Chamberlain scored 10.

Corban Collins made a layup with 2:11 left, giving Morehead State (12-16, 7-6) a four-point lead, but Chamberlain answered with a 3-pointer and, after Morehead State's Brent Arrington made 1 of 2 free throws, Bradds' three-point play completed the scoring.

Kareem Storey missed a layup, and Billy Reader and Arrington each missed put-back tip-ins, in the final seconds for the Eagles.

Arrington had 15 points and eight rebounds for Morehead State. Karam Mashour added 13 and 12.
