DELAND, Florida — Kentwan Smith had 23 points and eight rebounds, and Angel Rivera had a game-winning put-back with 19 seconds left as Stetson battled back to beat Lipscomb 75-73 on Saturday.

Stetson (7-15, 2-5 Atlantic Sun) trailed by 11 with 11:10 remaining, but came back to take a 72-71 lead after three Smith free throws with 1:42 left. After two free throws by Lipscomb's Malcolm Smith and another Smith free throw, the score was tied at 73. Rivera grabbed Stetson's third offensive rebound on its final possession and put it in off the glass.

Rivera finished with 15 points off the bench for Stetson. Brian Pegg added 16 points and seven boards, also off the bench. The win gave Stetson back-to-back wins for just the second time this season, each coming after five-game losing streaks.

Josh Williams led Lipscomb (10-12, 4-3) with 21 points.
