PEORIA, Illinois — Auston Barnes and Omari Grier scored 14 points each and Bradley beat Southern Illinois 63-44 on Saturday night for the Braves' sixth straight home win.

Josh Cunningham matched his career high with 12 rebounds, turning in his third consecutive double-digit performance on the boards for the Braves (6-9, 1-1 Missouri Valley).

Bradley had a 26-4 run spanning the two halves, including 19 unanswered points, to take a 24-point lead, 43-19, with 16:32 remaining.

The 24 points amounted to the largest deficit faced by Southern Illinois this season and the Salukis were only able to get as close as 15 with 6:07 left.

The Salukis (7-8, 0-2) didn't have a player score in double figures, shooting 33.3 percent. They missed all 14 3-point attempts, breaking a 118-game streak of making at least one 3-pointer and became the first Bradley opponent not to register one since Chicago State on Nov. 26, 2005.
