Red Hot guitarist brings musical mix to library

Singer and guitarist Ray Kamalay’s media material states that he is an entertainer. Besides, he has fronted a group called the Red Hot Peppers for more than 30 years.

But a free concert he will present at 2 p.m. Saturday will offer a different spice — a mix of music from Delta blues to Irish tunes, folk and others. That will comprise “Musical Flea Market: Trifles and Treasures From Our Melodious Past” at the Bartholomew County Public Library Red Room, 536 Fifth St. in Columbus.

Kamalay will share humor and stories of the songs he performs.

The Bartholomew County Library Associates is sponsoring the performance.
