Jo Ann Growe, 69, of County Road 50N, passed from this life at 10:34 a.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
A homemaker, Mrs. Growe was formerly employed at Reliance Electric from 1964 to 1977.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and she enjoyed collecting antiques.
The funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Patrick Galligar officiating.
Family and friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Bartholomew County Humane Society or St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.

Born in Columbus, January 11, 1946, Mrs. Growe was the daughter of Verl Dean and Rose Applegate Richardson. She married Stephen L. Growe July 29, 1967.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years and a daughter, Erika Growe of Columbus.
Mrs. Growe was preceded in death by her parents.
