End-of-school bash May 30

If the stress of classes recently has had you climbing the walls, never fear.

An upcoming, free, end-of-school Bash in the Park for local sixth- to 12th-graders will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Donner Park, 22nd and Lafayette streets in Columbus. And it will include climbing walls, music, teen-oriented speaker Harry Cooper, music, games, tips on preventing teen dating violence, a physical challenge and other activities, according to organizers.

Food trucks will be on hand for the purchase of snacks. The Flatrock Flatbread Company also will be there.

“We want to make this our biggest event of the year for teens,” said Nathan Larrison, Boys & Girls Club Director at Columbus’ Foundation For Youth.
