William Donald Lovins, 70, of Indianapolis, died at 3:28 p.m. Sunday, September 6, 2015, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.
Born November 18, 1944 in Somerset, Kentucky, Mr. Lovins was the son of Rothel Ester and Rebecca Katherine Hood Lovins.
Mr. Lovins was a retired automotive service manager.
Survivors include his wife, Roxana Martin Lovins; children, Jana (Randy) Robbinson of Crane Hill, Alabama, Kirt (Rebecca) Lovins, Kyle (Samantha) Lovins, Brandon Lovins, and Drew (Rebecca) Brock all off Indianapolis; grandchildren, Brittany Shores, Chris Manis, and Tyler, Michaela, Vivian, Gwyneth, Hayden, Sloane, and Kennedy Lovins; a great-grandson, Demetrius Brock; sisters, Goldie Farris, Ruby Gastineau, and Lynn Lovelace; and brothers, Ronald Lovins and Truman Lovins.
Mr. Lovins was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Owen Lovins; and siblings, Carl Lovins, Aleda Orlett, Charles Lovins, Bonnie Garland, Glenn Lovins, Jack Lovins and James Lovins.
The funeral will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. until service time Friday.
Burial will be at Ohio Chapel Cemetery.
