WHO TO WATCH
Columbus East offensive lineman Coy Park
For an offensive lineman, this senior is not very big. When it comes to heart, though, he matches up with anyone. East should have senior tailback Steven O’Neal back in the lineup after sitting out with a bum knee, so look for Park to open some holes for him.
Columbus East defensive end Josiah Edwards
In keeping with the smallish theme, Edwards at 6-foot-1, 180 is undersized for his position. However, he is a very active player and keeps the pressure on the offense. Look for a sack from Edwards tonight.
Columbus North wide receiver Wyatt Barkes
Barkes might not make a lot of catches during a game, but his plays often are very exciting with the potential of going a long ways. Look for coordinator Jason Perry to get the ball into Barkes hands tonight.
Columbus North linebacker Tucker Payne
A junior varsity starter a year ago, Payne is making big strides every game and is begging to make a name for himself on a unit that includes veteran standouts Brice McDaniel and Sean Dasovich. Look for him to have a big game tonight against visiting Terre Haute South.
