Irene E. Goen, age 88, of Medora died at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
Survivors include two sons, Stephen A. (Jane) Goen of Medora and Richard D. (Goldie) Goen of Norman; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus Albert Goen; one son, Martin Douglas Goen; three brothers, Clyde Edwards, Harry Edwards and Glenn Edwards; and three sisters, Hazel Charles, Mayme Harris and Kathleen Roberts.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc. in Brownstown with Pastor David Sawyers officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc. and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown.
Memorials may be given to the family.
