Ralph A. Boesche, 67, of Columbus, died 5:53 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015, at his home.

Ralph was born in Columbus July 29, 1948, the son of Wilbur and Betty Griffin Boesche. He married Donna Vetter March 2, 1974.

A 1966 graduate of Columbus High School, he attended Indiana Business College, retired from Cummins Engine Company in 2010, and was currently employed at H&R Block as a senior tax preparer.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Boesche of Columbus; children, Jason (Laura) Boesche of Westfield, Indiana, and Jennifer (Rik) Trulock of Columbus, Indiana; grandchildren, Kayla Nicole Boesche of Columbus, who he raised as a daughter, and Alyssa Rene Bell of Columbus, Indiana; brother, Paul Boesche of Texas; sisters-in-law, Jeanette Gumbel of Noblesville and Pam (Karl) Friedline of Michigan; brothers-in-law Frank (Sue) Vetter of Carmel, Indiana, and Jim Gatten of Michigan; mother-in-law Doris Vetter of Columbus, Indiana; cats, Dooley and Russ; dog, Hariett; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded by his parents; sisters-in-law, Sandy Gatten and Joanna Gatten; brother-in-law, Tom Gumbel; father-in-law, Frank Vetter; and grandson, Zachary Bell.

In keeping with Ralph’s wishes, there will be no service. He will be cremated and there will be private inurnment at Garland Brook Mausoleum.
