Maxine Bloomenstock, 96, of Columbus died at 12 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2014, at Mulberry Lutheran Home in Mulberry, Indiana.
Maxine was born in Columbus June 2, 1919, the daughter of Harry L. and Hazel Laurie Voelz. She married Earl F. “Fred” Bloomenstock September 14, 1940, he preceded her in death July 9, 2005.
She is survived by daughter, Cecilia (Larry) Joslin of Columbus; son, David J. Bloomenstock of Frederick, Maryland; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Sharon Ehinger; and daughter-in-law, Sydie Bloomenstock.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Garland Brook Cemetery with her grandson, John Bloomenstock, giving the eulogy. Calling will be from Noon to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-reed.com.
