“Dearly Departed,” a comic dinner theater production directed by Hope drama veteran Pete Law, will be presented today, Saturday and Sunday at Simmons Winery, 8111 E. County Road 450 North near Columbus.
Dinner is at 6 p.m. today and Saturday, followed by the play at 7 p.m. For Sunday, the dinner is at 1:30 p.m. and the show is at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $25. Reservations can be made at 812-546-0091.
In the production, the patriarch of a family in the heart of the Bible Belt dies. His ensuing arrangements and funeral prove that living and dying in the South is rarely neat and tidy.
The dinner and play also will be presented Nov. 20 to 22.
