Betty Jean Flohr, 94, of Taylor Road, died at 9 a.m. Sunday, December 13, 2015, at Four Seasons Health Care Center.
Born in Columbus, June 17, 1921, Mrs. Flohr was the daughter of N. Perry and Ada Smiley Linke.
She married Charles E. Flohr November 20, 1941. He preceded her in death, February 2, 2012.
Mrs. Flohr and her late husband moved to Four Seasons Retirement Center in May 2006 and spent many winter seasons in Naples, Florida.
She was a member and secretary at North Christian Church.
In keeping with Mrs. Flohr’s wishes, cremation is planned. A private memorial service will be held at a later date at Garland Brook Mausoleum Chapel with Chaplain Phyllis Hawkins officiating.
Inurnment will follow at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Mrs. Flohr is survived by her children, David (JoAnne) Flohr of Columbus and Cheryl Ann (David) Shiplett of Cary, North Carolina; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Flohr was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
