The American Red Cross is asking donors to consider donating blood in March, which is Red Cross Month.
Donation opportunities are available at the following days and times:
- March 1, from 2 to 6 p.m., Bartholomew County Library, 536 Fifth St.
- March 4 and March 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Columbus Blood Donation Center, 931 Repp Drive.
- March 14, from 2 to 6 p.m., Hope Moravian Church, 202 Main St.
To make an appointment to donate blood, visit redcrossblood.org or call 800-733-2767. A blood donor card or driver’s license, or two other forms of identification, are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health are eligible to donate blood.
