NASHVILLE, Ind. — A recreational vehicle traveling east on State Road 46 near Green Valley Road was destroyed in a fire at about 4 p.m. Tuesday, Indiana State Police said.
The driver of the vehicle, Mark Laffoon from Davenport, Florida stated the vehicle had lost power while driving but he was able to pull into an empty parking lot.
Once Laffoon exited the recreational vehicle, he observed it was on fire near the engine area. Laffoon was able to escape without injury.
The recreational vehicle was a total loss.
