Butlerville
Bessie M. Speer, 72, of Butlerville, died at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at The Waters of Clifty in Madison.
She is survived by sons, Ty (Sara) Speer and Troy (Brenda) Speer of Butlerville and Sam (Charlotte) Speer of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one brother, Sam Lachmann of Washington; sisters, Emma Feasel of Fortville and Augusta Harper of North Vernon; two grandchildren; and one stepgrandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Speer, and daughter, Jennifer Jill Speer.
Funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Tom Mattingly officiating. Calling will be Saturday from 4 p.m. until service time.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of Jennings County or Graham Baptist Church.
