Mildred Goen Swengel, 87, of Brownstown, died Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown.
Survivors include five sons, Mike (Mona) Goen of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Kevin (Sherry) Goen of Jenson Beach, Florida, Lonny (Wilma) Goen of Taylorsville, Greg (Tess) Goen of Seymour and Tony Goen of Scipio; one daughter, Lori Sunbury of Scipio; three brothers, Russell Wisehart of Springfield, Missouri, James Wisehart of Mountain Home, Arkansas, and Richard Wisehart of Phoenix; two sisters, Dixie Whiteside of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Peggy Fischer of Phoenix; 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Goen.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Spurgeon Funeral Home in Brownstown with Lonny Goen and Russell Wisehart officiating. Calling will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Clearspring Cemetery.
