The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department will have its second Pack a Patrol Car food drive through Nov. 8.
Sheriff Matt Myers will be at the Kroger Marketplace store, 3060 N. National Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday to collect non-perishable food donations for the effort.
Last year, the event collected 8,000 non-perishable food items for Love Chapel and this year the sheriff’s department hopes to collect 10,000 items.
Donations are also being accepted in the Bartholomew County Jail lobby from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and during evening visitation.
