Masters diver to give presentation at library

Columbus resident and masters diver Jim Everroad will make a presentation “The Lazy Way to Great Shape” at 6 p.m. at the Red Room of the Bartholomew County Public Library.

Everroad finished second in the FINA World Masters Diving Championships in Russia two years ago. Last year, he won a national masters title.

Thanksgiving Day races will benefit Love Chapel

Columbus North senior Maddy Neal is hosting the Third Annual 5K on Turkey Day to benefit the Love Chapel at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Armory. A 10K run has been added this year.

Registration for adults is $25 for the 5K and $35 for the $10K. For kids 17 and younger, registration is $15 for the 5K and $25 for the 10K.

Participants also are asked to bring five canned goods. Neal has a goal of raising $10,000 and 2,500 canned goods for the Love Chapel.
