The Columbus East Alumni Association is accepting nominees through Friday for the school’s 2017 Wall of Fame.
The alumni association is working to build a legacy of excellence for past, present and future generations of Columbus East students.
People can make a nomination by emailing them to [email protected]. Include a brief biography or description of the candidate, as well as contact information for the nominator and nominee.
Criteria include:
» Columbus East graduate
Special achievements in the nominee’s area of specialization
»Honors, awards or other recognition received
Community service
»Meritorious contributions to society in general or to a specific segment of society
»Memoriam for death “in the line of duty”
A reception for inductees will take place at 6 p.m. Jan. 27, with awards presented at halftime of the East Central at Columbus East boys basketball game.
