WTIU-TV and the Columbus Area Visitors Center are teaming up for a special screening of the PBS documentary, “American Masters: Eero Saarinen: The Architect who Saw the Future,” at 8 p.m. Dec. 27 at the visitors center, 506 Fifth St. The film explores the life and career of iconic Finnish-American Modernist architect Eero Saarinen. It follows the designer’s son, Eric, as he visits the sites of his father’s work. Columbus is home to three buildings designed by Eero Saarinen which are featured in the film: the former Irwin Union Bank, Miller House and Garden, and North Christian Church.
