Artesians top East JV
MARTINSVILLE — With the late addition of the Indiana Wrestling Coaches Association Duals on Dec. 23, Columbus East had to find a couple of matches to sit most of its varsity wrestlers to keep them within the IHSAA-mandated limit.
One of those matches was Wednesday. The Olympians used mostly junior varsity wrestlers in a 49-24 loss at Martinsville.
Brayden Taylor (285), Braeden Berger (106) and Ashton Jones (113) all won by pin for East. Brendan Stadtmiller (152) and Austin Wilson (160) won by decision.
