The American Red Cross has issued an emergency call for blood donations after 37,000 fewer donations during the holiday months of November and December.
Local opportunities to donate blood include:
- Today: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., LaQuinta Inn & Suites, 101 Carrie Lane, Columbus
- Monday: 2 to 7 p.m., Hope Moravian Church, 202 Main St., Hope
- Tuesday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Cummins Engine Plant, 500 Central Ave., Columbus
- Jan. 13: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., LaQuinta, 101 Carrie Lane
- Jan. 13: 2 to 7 p.m., St. Peter’s Lutheran School, 719 Fifth St., Columbus
- Jan. 20: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., LaQuinta, 101 Carrie Lane
