Jennings County’s public school district earned the same grade it has the past two years on the state’s grading system for school corporations.
Jennings County School Corp. received a B in 2016 just like it did in 2014 and 2015, according to the A-F accountability grades released Wednesday by the Indiana Department of Education. Before that the district earned a C in 2011-13.
The latest grade come about a month after the A-F accountability grades for individual schools were released. District grades were delayed until they received state approval.
Seven of the eight schools in the district earned a B in 2016.
