Columbus Police are waiting for the owner of more than 5 pounds of marijuana that somehow got delivered to the wrong address to pick up their package at the police station.
The police department’s Twitter feed went ballistic after the department posted they had picked up the marijuana from a local residence where it was delivered by mistake and now were holding it for the owner.
“If you are missing your drugs, feel free to swing by the front desk at the Columbus Police Department and speak to the nice officer working at the front desk,” the social media posting said.
Police also advised that it would be best to bring identification when stopping in.
The street value of the marijuana is estimated at nearly $30,000.
