Alice M. Reeves, 77, of South Hillview Road, died at 4:33 a.m. February 22, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Alice was born May 21, 1939, in Edinburgh, the daughter of Francis and Margaret Anderson Critney. She married Robert W. Reeves Sr. December 27, 1956.
She was active in her family’s business, Wayne’s Auto Electric and was the wife of the pastor at Corner Stone Baptist Church in Garden City, where she was highly involved. Her family and faith were the most important things in her life.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2017, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Caplinger officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service Monday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana through the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Robert W. Reeves Sr.; sons, Robert W. Reeves Jr. and Donald L. Reeves, both of Columbus; daughters, Terrie L. (Ernie) Reed of Nashville, Sheila A. (Tim) Woods of Batesville, Mary A. (James) Hutson of Columbus and Sarah M. (Dale) Lucas of Columbus; sisters, Dorothy (Roy) Farr of Edinburgh and Patricia Foster of Charleston, South Carolina; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.
