Rebecca S. Coyle, 63, of Columbus, died at 10:58 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, at her home.
She was born July 26, 1953, in Castries, St. Lucia, and lived there for seven-and-a-half years. She was the daughter of James M. and Leah Emma Ostehout Wooster. She married Charles “Chuck” Coyle Jr. Jan. 19, 1974, in Indianapolis; he survives.
Rebecca was a member of Parkside Baptist church, sang in the choir, was a Sunday school teacher and a church camp counselor and cook. She was a member of AWANA, a national youth organization based on Timothy 2:15. She enjoyed bike rides and had worked for That Special Touch Bridal Shop in Columbus. Several years ago, she was a nurses aid at Winona Hospital in Indianapolis.
She is survived by husband, Charles “Chuck” Coyle Jr. of Columbus; children, Charles (Becky) Coyle III of Jupiter, Florida, Robert Jason (Anne) Coyle of Plainfield and Leah Ruth (Sean) Casey of Tallahassee, Florida; mother, Leah Emma Wooster of Columbus; sisters, Vicki (John) Moody of Bradenton, Florida, Michal Cierpik of Tallahassee, Florida, and Carol (Jesse) Moorman of Blairsville, Georgia; a brother, Guy (Maryann) Wooster of Indianapolis; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Parkside Baptist Church with Dr. William Bailey officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9:30 a.m. to service time Saturday at the church. Private entombment will take place at Lincoln Memory Gardens, north of Indianapolis.
