I am writing this letter in reference to the Columbus Salvation Army. Capt. Alan Sladek and Capt. Jodi Sladek are beautiful people. They need volunteers to help with their programs.
The other pantry in Columbus has an abundance of volunteers, but the number of Salvation Army volunteers is small. They have a lot of programs that they don’t have volunteers to help with.
I am a very strong supporter of the Salvation Army in Columbus and Bartholomew County. I would encourage people to volunteer at the Salvation Army. The Sladeks are very compassionate about the needs of the community.
