Of all the wonderful architecture in Columbus, the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library might be my favorite structure. OK, OK, maybe I shouldn’t pick favorites, but the I.M. Pei-designed brick building is high on my list. Join archivist Tricia Gilson of the Columbus Indiana Architectural Archives for a tour of the library. The tour will meet at noon June 19 on the steps of First Christian Church, 531 Fifth St. Information: mybcpl.org.
Each time it dawns on me that summer is truly here, I celebrate internally. You can celebrate externally, with a bunch of kids, during the kidscommons Summer Solstice Celebration, Wednesday at 309 Washington St. Information: kidscommons.org.
