James Everett Lamb, 76, of Port Orange, Florida, formerly of North Vernon, died at 1:06 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Halifax Health Hospice in Port Orange, Florida.
Surviving with his wife, Diana Lamb, are sons, Kenneth (Karen) Lamb of Bettendorf, Iowa and Michael (Daisy) Lamb of Eldridge, Iowa; daughters, Kelly (Tracey) Nolan and Tracie Walp, both of North Vernon; mother, Bernice Owens of Columbus; sisters, Margaret (Wade) Goodin of Taylorsville and Nancy (Roger) Nichtor of Columbus; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Mr. Lamb will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Jim Terry officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Saturday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery with military graveside rites.
