Two flood warnings are continuing for the East Fork White River and the Driftwood River in Bartholomew County.
Bartholomew County Emergency Management Director Shannan Hinton said the flood warning for the East Fork White River at Columbus will continue until Thursday evening. At 8 p.m. Tuesday, the river was at 2.7 feet with flood stage at 9 feet. Minor flooding is forecast and could involve flooding south of Tellman Road and Mill Race Park if the river exceeds flood stage.
The Driftwood River has a flood warning from late tonight through Friday morning, Hinton said. At 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, the river near Edinburgh was at 9.6 feet with flood stage at 11 feet. Forecasters are predicting the river will be at 13.5 feet before beginning to to fall below flood stage late Thursday.
