Backpacks giveaway slated for Sunday
Verizon Wireless at The Cellular Connection will have a backpack giveaway from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the store, 2075 W. Jonathan Moore Pike.
The free event will feature a bounce house, animal show and refreshments, as well as give one free backpack to each child while supplies last.
Backpacks are geared toward grade school kids, and children must attend in order to pick up a free backpack.
