EDINBURGH
Sharon L. Gobin, 74, of Edinburgh, died Monday, November 6, 2017, from injuries received in a train-auto accident in Edinburgh.
Sharon was born in Columbus April 20, 1943, the daughter of Charles and Norma Rohr Gobin.
She was a graduate of the Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati and was a Registered Nurse in I.C.U. and E.R. at Deaconess for 42 years.
After retirement she worked in Outpatient Surgery at Columbus Regional Hospital.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Columbus.
She was an avid gardener and loved her nieces and nephews dearly.
She is survived by sisters, Charlotte Lucas of Columbus and Jennifer Denk of Edinburgh; nephew, Michael (Sarah) Denk of Whiteland, niece, Laura (Thaddaeus) Sauls of Whiteland; one great-niece and three great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Garland Brook Cemetery with Rev. John Armstrong officiating.
In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated and there will be no calling hours.
