Tri Kappa sisters across Indiana will be celebrating Tri Kappa Week, Monday through Friday, in recognition of 117 years of promoting charity, culture and education.
Last year’s activities of the Tau Chapter of Columbus included donating supplies and support to local charities, such as its recent delivery of collected hotel toiletries to The Clothesline and Turning Point via Tri State Artisans. The sisters of Tri Kappa also donate their time at local community events, such as The Elementary Fitness Fun Run and the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
The organization raises funds through various events throughout the year, such as pecan sales, Whipker’s Flower Card sales and Bridgerama, in order to support scholarships and other charitable giving. Members of the Columbus Alpha Associate Chapter provided support to their sisters in the active chapter.
The Columbus Tau Chapter recently launched an electronic newsletter to help keep the community informed and engaged in its activities. You can request to be placed on the newsletter by emailing: cscolumbustautrikappa@gmail.com
