Based on input from nearly 3,000 members of the community, the latest drawings for a new Commons with performance spaces, a roof-top garden with benches, views of “Chaos” from the first and second floors and a playground divided for use by older and younger children, were displayed during a presentation at Columbus City Hall.

Columbus North High School juniors Heather Brown and Yumiko Makino were selected to play in the 92-piece Indiana All-State Honors Band. Senior Dan Payne was chosen as one of 20 alternates.

Indiana Gas Co. and Natural Gas Corp. of Paoli both petitioned the State Public Service Commission for the right to serve western Bartholomew County, including the Harrison Lakes area.
