North senior awarded scholarship

A Columbus North High School senior has been awarded a $56,000 scholarship to attend Grace College.

Kyla Foley received the achievement scholarship during the school’s presidential scholarship competition. The scholarship at Grace College, located in Winona Lake, will provide Foley with a $14,000 each year for four years, totaling $56,000. She plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in social studies education.

The presidential scholarship competition is by invitation-only based on academic achievements for qualifying high school seniors. Students compete for prizes through an interview and essay contests.
