The Southern Indiana Center for the Arts will host a social painting experience from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. April 8 at 2001 N. Ewing St., Seymour.
Participants will paint a 10-inch x 20-inch canvas with their family’s names. Various color choices will be available. The canvas can be completed with a family picture. No previous art experience or talent is required. A sample of the project can be viewed on SICA’s Facebook page.
The project will take approximately two hours to complete. Participants can drop in after 1 p.m., but no arrivals are permitted after 3.
Prepayment and preregistration are required by April 4 so stencils can be prepared by class time. Cost of the workshop is $50; SICA members receive a 20-percent discount. When reserving a spot, provide the last name and first name of family members.
