Frances Sharon Jaggers, 80, of Columbus, passed from this life at 4:45 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Hope.
Sharon retired from the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation after 15 years of service.
She formerly attended Garden City Church of Christ.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Virgil Clotfelter officiating.
Family and friends may call from noon to the time of service Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Sharon was born April 4, 1937 in Columbus. She was the daughter of Riley and Carrie McNicholas Ward.
She married George E. Jaggers on April 23, 1955. He preceded her in death on December 8, 2012.
Survivors include her sons, Rick (Erin) Jaggers of Columbus and David (Shannon) Jaggers of South Carolina; and grandchildren, Kyle Jaggers, Cassidy Jaggers, Abby Jaggers and Haley Jaggers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Fred Ward; and a sister, Judy Sims.
