The Bartholomew County Health Department will offer A1C screenings for Tuesday morning and the morning of April 24.
The A1C test is a blood test that provides information about a person’s average levels of blood glucose, also called blood sugar.
In addition, hemoglobin tests, which examines blood protein levels, also will be available.
The cost for the A1C screening is $12. The cost of the hemoglobin is $2. Cash, debit or credit card payments are accepted.
Hours at the nursing division of the Bartholomew County Health Department, 2675 Foxpointe Drive, Suite B, are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Testing is by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, call 812-379-1555 and select Option 1.
