Panel discussion on impacts of built environment

IUPUC and IUCA+D are hosting a panel discussion about how the built environment of a city affects mental, physical and social wellbeing.

“Psychology/Sociology/ Geography & Architecture — the Positive and Negative Effects of the Built Environment on Mental, Physical and Social Wellbeing” will be presented at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at IUCA+D, 310 Jackson St.

IUPUC faculty members Gary Felsten, associate dean for academic affairs and psychology professor, and George Towers, division head of liberal arts and geography professor, will be the panelists. Moderator will be T. Kelly Wilson, director of the new Indiana University Master of Architecture program in Columbus.

The event is free and open to the public.
