COLUMBUS
Donald Eugene Allen, 59, of Columbus, died at 12:35 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Donald was born April 16, 1959, in Columbus, the son of Billie E. and Lillian I. Gabbard Allen.
Donald worked in the auto body repair industry for many years, most recently working for West Container.
He loved to go fishing.
Donald is survived by his father and stepmother, Billie E. and Maerene Allen of Columbus; his mother, Lillian I. Pettay of Seymour; sisters, Barbara (Kenny) Stough of Seymour and Teresa (Ronald) Pheral of Commiskey; brothers, Greg (Tessa) Allen of Columbus and Brian (Kellie) Allen of Nashville, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lucille Allen.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation is planned. There will be no service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice of charities.
