Weekend truck show to benefit VFW post

A diesel truck show is planned Friday through Sunday at Ceraland Park outside of Columbus to benefit Veterans of Foreign Wars post 5864 in Greenwood, which is in the process of building a new facility.

The event will be 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, sponsored by Diesel Pride and Pride Truck Wash.

Ceraland Park offers camping, fishing and miniature golf. It is located at 3989 S. County Road 525E, Columbus. For more information on the park, visit ceraland.org

Event activities include raffles, beanbag tournaments and door prizes. Live music from the band HT3 will be from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $5 per person per day, or $8 for the weekend. Children 11 and younger are admitted free.
