The Columbus Food Co-op plans to hold a free celebration for the community during its final open house event.
The neighborhood bash will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Columbus Food Co-op, 1580 Central Ave., and will include music by local band Circus 46, a free meal featuring Moroccan stew from Max Lemley and beer available for sale from Upland Brewing Co.
Local farmers will sell their produce and other items, while local artisans will also have their handmade products for sale during the event, which will include children’s activities.
