NEW PALESTINE
Margie Jean (Hoskins) Jewell, 84, of New Palestine, passed away peacefully April 25, 2018 at home surrounded by her family.
A native of Columbus where she met her husband, Raymond, she moved to Indianapolis in 1962.
She and her husband founded Lift Chairs, Incorporated in 1971 which still continues as a family business, Access Mobility.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clem and Adella Hoskins and her husband, Raymond A. Jewell.
She is survived by daughter, Susan (Brent) Hopkins; grandchildren, Alan (Shelby) Ausbrooks, Martin (Ashley) Ausbrooks, and Chelsea Ausbrooks; as well as five great-grandchildren, Alayna, Lucas, Arie, Kyle and Zachary.
Graveside services will be held Friday, April 27, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus.
