Student performs voice recital

Abigail Beerwart recently performed a voice recital at Wheaton College.

Beerwart, of Columbus, is a music performance major in the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music. Wheaton College, located in Wheaton, Illinois, is a Christian liberal arts college.

Purdue Polytechnic has 3D printing workshop

Purdue Polytechnic Columbus will offer a 3D printing workshop in May.

The workshop, from 9 a.m. to noon May 21 to 25, will be held at the campus, 4444 Kelly St., in the Advanced Manufacturing Center for Excellence building. Participants will learn how to build their own 3D printer during the $400 workshop, which includes all course content, 3D printer materials, software and accessories. 

Enrollment for the May session is open through May 18 at purdue.edu/columbus. Participants should be at least 12 years old, with a parent or guardian required to attend the workshop for individuals younger than age 18.
