In light of the upcoming primary election, I want to point out two major problems where we should expect more focused and more intensive approach from our elected politicians in the Indiana Statehouse. One is to keep up the prudent management of the taxpayers’ money. The other: Attack head-on the terrible drug addiction of our young people. (More than 30 overdose deaths here last year.) Our past and current approach does not work.
Ryan Lauer is running on the Republican ticket. He has proper education background to attack these issues: Bachelor of Science in biochemistry, Master of Science in chemical informatics and Bachelor of Science in mathematics. He is a Cummins engineer, working successfully on complex technical issues where incompetence is not tolerated, so I think he will effectively represent our community in the Statehouse.
Ryan’s previous political activities as member of the Bartholomew County Council prove that he is a conservative, fiscally responsible, proven leader. He kept budgets tight and cut millions from the budget through efficiencies and prioritization.
He will take these conservative principles to the Statehouse. There he will work in a way that here in Columbus we will be proud of our guy in Indianapolis. I will vote for him and suggest to my friends to do the same thing.
