More than 300 to attend 5th annual Lobsterfest
Ticket sales have ended for the Fifth Annual Lobsterfest.
That’s the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic’s annual authentic New England Clambake and Lobster Boil fundraiser set at 6 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the sponsoring Old National Bank downtown.
The feast of Maine lobsters and clams plus traditional fixings has become one of the orchestra’s most popular events. More than 300 people will attend, according to organizers.
The past two years, the event has sold out with about 400 in attendance, organizers said. Lobsterfest helps fund the Philharmonic’s concert and music education programs that reach more than 13,000 adults and children in south-central Indiana each year.
