1) Some of you may remember this Jenny trivia from past editor’s notes, but one of my hobbies is making knit doll versions of pop culture icons. But I’m losing a little inspiration. Just in time comes the 35th Annual Doll and Bear Show, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Community Building at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds, 750 W. County Road 200 S. The free show and sale features antique, collectible and original dolls and bears.
2) As the result of injuries sustained as a teen and an adult, Lynde Doup suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI). “The Odds of Grace” describes her life before and after both TBIs. She will speak about the book at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Copies of Lynde’s book will be available for purchase.
