Margaret E. Clouse, 89, of Central Avenue, died at 12:07 a.m. May 16, 2018, at Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation.
Margaret was born December 8, 1928, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of William and Opal Foster Rodert.
She was an employee of Cummins Engine Co. before retiring in 1988 and previously served as the treasurer of the Cummins Office Committee Union.
Margaret was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Day, Jr. officiating. Calling will be 10 a.m. until time of the service Tuesday. Inurnment will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Survivors include her son, Jim (Robin) Clouse of Columbus, daughters, Sharon (Lewis Richard) Maurer of Columbus, Brenda (Alan) Thomas of Franklin and Becky (Rick) Carter of Taylorsville; grandchildren, Tracy Seals, Kris Thomas, Sonja Walker, Todd Maurer, Marlea George, Brian Thomas, Cory Carter, Chani Buettner and Keisha Eubanks; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Marcia Jaynes; and her son-in-law, John Jaynes.
